Who qualifies for these services/required documentation?

There are two ways students qualify for classroom accommodations at Fremont Christian School (FCS). First, parents may provide the Admissions and Records Office with a formal evaluation and diagnosis from a doctor or a therapist.

In some cases, a teacher will observe a need through classroom teaching and learning experiences and/or through formal assessments like the MAP Growth Test or written work that seem to indicate a need for formal evaluation outside FCS. Accommodations may be provided as an interim measure while parents seek out a professional diagnosis; deadlines apply.

*Note: FCS does not provide remediation or a change in curriculum.

If you have a student who may fit the above criteria, and they are interested in attending FCS, please contact our Admissions Office at 510-744-2242 to discuss your unique story.
